Technical Operations Director

Tivoli Muscat Hotel seeks a seasoned Technical Operations Director to lead the establishment of technical infrastructure, equipment, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee setup, installation, and commissioning of all hotel systems and technical infrastructure.
  • Ensure completion of engineering works according to plan, within timeframes, and in compliance with local codes and regulations.
  • Lead coordination of contractors and vendors for all engineering-related projects.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the technical team.
  • Foster a collaborative, efficient, and service-oriented team culture within the technical department.
  • Implement training programs for technical staff on hotel systems, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure all technical systems and equipment meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
  • Regularly inspect all systems to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Develop and implement emergency protocols for system failures or technical issues.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's safety and security teams to maintain compliance with fire and life safety regulations.
  • Manage the technical department's operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Identify and implement energy-efficient practices and technologies.
  • Oversee the procurement of all necessary materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Develop detailed reports on project progress, highlighting potential risks or delays.
  • Coordinate with the Project Management team to ensure construction timelines are met.
  • Maintain records of all technical projects, operations, and maintenance.
  • Provide technical support and expertise during the hotel's opening phase.
  • Ensure that all technical systems are operating efficiently.
  • Establish long-term maintenance strategies to maintain the hotel's assets and technical systems.
