We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to oversee all hull and engine room steel outfitting work in E/R and Pipe repair activities. This role is critical to ensuring the timely completion of ship repair work while maintaining quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign and supervise day-to-day work, providing guidance to the pipe team and resolving related issues to ensure job completion as per work package, drawings, schedule, and budget.
  • Maintain workshop facilities and equipment cleanliness to facilitate a clean working environment and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environment standards.
  • Identify jobs with owners and attend on-board meetings with owners/SRM daily.
  • Carry out specific task briefings for workers daily.
  • Ensure start and stop times are managed by their team of workers.
  • Plan materials for workers ahead of time, execute tasks, and maintain goal-oriented execution prepared by Foreman.
  • Assist engineers in compiling weekly WCRs for long repairs and bi-weekly reports for small projects.
  • Monitor progress daily and control manpower and man-hours.
  • Participate in risk assessment with Engineers/Preparator and prepare NCRs for quality/prod errors and safety incident forms for injuries/damage to properties.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Polytechnic Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • 6 years of relevant experience in outfitting jobs like steel outfitting and Pipe repair activities in a shipyard or similar work; including at least 2-3 years in supervisory positions

Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:

  • Understanding ISO and Fabrication drawing of Pipes/Structure works and supervision skills
