Job Overview

The role of Sr. Planning Engineer is a pivotal position in our organization, responsible for overseeing all aspects of planning services.

This includes project planning, risk management, and managing changes to ensure seamless execution.

  • Deliver high-quality project plans and schedules that meet the required timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and identify critical path elements to optimize resource allocation.
  • Supervise Work Breakdown Structures, project controls systems, and interfaces with financial accounting systems according to established procedures.
  • Provide guidance on project planning and scheduling using industry-standard software such as Primavera.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to track actions, close risks, and maintain updated registers.
Accountabilities
  • Ensure accurate cost control codes are assigned and invoices are processed in accordance with contractual terms.
  • Track project procurement activities and adjust timing and costs as needed.
  • Contribute to project proposals and execution plans, including pricing and cash flow forecasts.
  • Deliver timely and accurate project reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, critical path analysis, and key performance indicators.
  • Maintain standard and consistent full suite of planning, risk, and project change management processes across OLNG Projects.
Requirements

A successful candidate will possess:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of project experience.
  • Strong knowledge of planning tools, budgeting, and cost control techniques.
  • Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in complex environments.
