Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Director Real Estate Development to join our team at Omran Group OM. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in residential, commercial, and hospitality real estate development.

About the Role:

The Executive Director Real Estate Development will be responsible for leading the delivery of business plans and overall project activities. They will lead the project team in developing the project vision, business plan, feasibility studies, master plan, product mix, project design, execution, and delivery of project components.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the effective achievement of functional objectives through leadership of allocated resources for the project scope and setting of individual objectives.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and JV partner agreements, oversee the preparation of board papers and committee presentations, obtain approvals according to strategic plans, and drive the development process.
  • Work closely with the relevant Leadership team and Shareholders to fulfill the required vision.

Leadership:

  • Define and recommend an optimum project organization structure so that resources are optimally utilized, and communication can efficiently take place.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to members of Project Teams as well as ensuring mentoring programs are in place across the Project.

Budgets and Plans:

  • Lead the preparation and consolidation of the business unit budgets and monitor financial performance versus the budget.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures:

  • Support the SPV structure in the development and oversee the implementation of functional policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls covering all areas of function.

Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment:

  • Direct the compliance of all relevant quality, health, safety, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the function.

MIS and Reports:

  • Ensure that all functional reports are completed timely and comply with international principles of corporate governance and standards.

Project Direction & Management:

  • Supervise the operational activities of an assigned project or area of responsibility.
