Container Sales Professional

We are seeking a professional to promote and sell container liner services, develop strong customer relationships, and ensure seamless import and export shipments.

This role involves sales and business development, customer service, and operational coordination with principals, port authorities, and customers.

• Sales & Business Development: Identify and maintain relationships with shippers, consignees, freight forwarders, and NVOCCs; Promote container liner services, negotiate freight rates, and secure business in line with commercial strategy.
• Customer Service: Circulate vessel schedules, support customers with booking confirmations, and ensure compliance with port and customs requirements.
• Export Cycle: Process bookings, guide customers on documentation, and coordinate with the documentation team for draft and final Bill of Lading issuance.
• Import Cycle: Receive manifests, notify consignees of vessel arrival, and coordinate with finance for collection of freight and outstanding receivables.
• Post-Departure & Reporting: Ensure vessel file closure, prepare sales performance reports, and submit market intelligence to management and principals.

• Bachelor's degree in Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years' experience in liner sales and documentation (import & export).
• Strong knowledge of container liner shipping processes (BL, IGM, EGM, DO, Manifest).
• Proficiency in MS Office and trade portals.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
