Job Title: Senior Obstetrics ConsultantAbout the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced gynecologist to join our team as a senior obstetrics consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert medical care to patients, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of clinical policies and procedures.

This is a contract-based position for two years, with opportunities for relocation to Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with at least 14 years of experience and laparoscopic skills.

The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Middle East experience is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality medical care to patients, including routine check-ups, diagnoses, and treatments.
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
  • Leading a team of healthcare professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on patient progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 14 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Laparoscopic skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Middle East experience (an added advantage).
  • English speaking is a must.
  • Arabic speaking is an added advantage.
  • Must be female.
  • If with MRCOG, FRCOG is an added advantage.
  • Age should be less than 57.
