The role of a Tank Construction Lead is to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects for tanks in the oil and gas sector.

About the Job:

  • Develop and implement construction plans and schedules in coordination with project teams.
  • Supervise and lead construction teams to ensure safe and efficient execution in accordance with project specifications.
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards by conducting audits and managing incident responses.
  • Oversee quality assurance and ensure compliance with engineering and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor budgets and implement cost-control measures to maintain financial targets.
  • Manage and track construction schedules, addressing delays and providing progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and contractual obligations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve construction issues to maintain project momentum.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management degree.
  • At least 18+ years of experience in construction management, with 10+ years in Oil & Gas EPC projects focusing on tank construction.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing large, diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software.
