Job Description

We are seeking a qualified professional to manage our library's collections and provide assistance to patrons.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Organize and preserve library materials through cataloging, classification, and shelving.
  2. Assist patrons in locating and accessing library resources.
  3. Develop new programs and services to enhance the library experience.
  4. Collaborate with educators to integrate library resources into curriculum.
  5. Maintain knowledge of current literature, technology, and trends in librarianship.
  6. Create engaging displays and promotional materials.
  7. Maintain accurate records of circulation statistics.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
  2. Minimum 2 years experience working in a library setting.
  3. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Proficient in using various information technologies.
  6. Knowledge of cataloging systems such as Dewey Decimal or Library of Congress Classification.
