Assistant Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to support the Operations Manager in achieving business targets by coordinating daily operational tasks, monitoring project progress, and ensuring workflows align with company standards.

This role focuses on improving service levels, facilitating cross-departmental collaboration, and assisting in project execution within the Oman market.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support annual strategic, operational, and financial planning by collecting data, analyzing reports, and generating updates for internal review and client feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements and regulatory standards.
  • Lead projects to meet timelines, budgets, and objectives.
  • Monitor departmental KPIs, client turnaround times, and service level agreement performance, providing regular updates.
  • Analyze data for budget recommendations, resource planning, and cost-benefit analysis of operational investments.
  • Support efficiency improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.
  • Operate under strategic guidance while exercising independent judgment in day-to-day operations.
  • Make decisions to ensure project and operational targets are met effectively.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in medicine, business, or MBA.
  2. AAPC certification or process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma) is advantageous.
  3. Large experience in managing complex operations environments, at least 5 years in senior roles with operational track records and proven results.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially PowerPoint, MS projects, and Excel.
  5. Experience in managing operations through efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
  6. Fluent business English (verbal and written skills).
  7. Ability to provide leadership and motivate team members.
  8. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
