System Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented Golang System Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and documenting system-level Go code.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implement System-Level Code: Develop low-level Go code that interfaces between our REST API and C libraries used to manage containers and virtual machines.
- Model Data and Design Database Schema: Create database models and design schemas to store data in a dqlite (SQL) database.
- Maintain Code Quality: Ensure high-quality code through static analysis, unit, and system tests.
- Collaborate with Distributed Teams: Work proactively with colleagues across different locations.
- Programming Experience: Proficiency in Go and C programming languages.
- Networking and Storage Knowledge: Understanding of networking and storage technologies.
- Cloud Computing Experience: Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization, containers, distributed systems, or open-source community.
- Soft Skills: Curiosity, flexibility, articulation, accountability, enterprising spirit, thoughtfulness, and self-motivation.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related field.
