Job Overview

The role of a Senior HSE Officer is a critical position within any organization, responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of employees, contractors, and stakeholders alike.

This senior-level position involves implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) plans in accordance with local and international standards, conducting daily site safety inspections, and enforcing compliance with safety protocols for steel erection, scaffolding, and confined spaces.

Key responsibilities include leading incident investigations, reporting root causes, and recommending corrective actions. Additionally, this role entails maintaining safety documentation, logs for inspections, drills, and trainings, as well as delivering toolbox talks, inductions, and safety awareness sessions to promote a culture of safety and accountability on-site.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in HSE, preferably in infrastructure and steel structure projects
  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent qualification mandatory
