Library Professional

We are seeking a skilled Library Professional to manage our library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cataloguing new additions and assisting patrons with their research needs.

• Manage the library's collection, ensuring accurate and up-to-date cataloguing
• Catalogue new materials using our system, maintaining high standards of organisation and accuracy
• Assist patrons in finding and checking out materials, providing excellent customer service skills
• Provide reference services to patrons in person and over the phone, demonstrating expertise in literature and knowledge management
• Maintain a clean and organised library environment, adhering to health and safety standards

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field, with a strong focus on collection management
• Previous experience working in a library setting is highly desirable, demonstrating ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential
• Familiarity with library management systems is highly beneficial, with a willingness to learn and adapt
