Barista Position Available

We are currently seeking a skilled Barista to join our team in Salalah, Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving specialty coffee drinks to our guests.

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 2 years' experience as a barista in a specialty coffee shop or café in Oman. You will also require strong machine-maintenance skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer-service and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a range of specialty espresso-based and filter coffee beverages.
  • Maintain coffee equipment and ensure cleanliness of the coffee station.
  • Grind beans, adjust brew parameters, and dial in espresso shots for optimal flavor.
  • Educate guests on coffee origins, brewing methods, and tasting notes.
  • Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other café supplies.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth café operations.
  • Uphold all food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a barista in a specialty coffee shop or café in Oman.
  • Deep knowledge of coffee beans, roast profiles, and brewing techniques.
  • Strong machine-maintenance skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
