Embedded Linux System Software Engineer

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Technical Engineering Manager to lead a team of skilled software developers in designing and implementing Ubuntu Core system software on various CPU architectures, such as ARM, RISC-V, and X86.
**Key Responsibilities:- Build and lead a distributed team of engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and career development.
- Contribute directly to your team's goals by demonstrating sound engineering principles.
- Support the timely delivery of technical solutions to meet business needs.
- Manage expectations effectively with other engineering teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
- Promote and develop modern, agile software development practices and organizational excellence.
**Requirements:**
- Passionate about technology and working with talented people.
- Curious, adaptable, articulate, and responsible.
- Experienced in developing and mentoring software teams.
- Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about software development.
- Proven leadership, management, coaching, and mentoring skills in software development.
- Capable of planning and executing to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
- Holding a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or related field.
- Experienced with embedded software development.
**Working Conditions:**
The successful candidate will work remotely with biannual travel for company events, approximately two weeks per trip.
