Paralegal Position Summary

To provide high-level administrative support to the General Counsel and legal department.

  • This role involves performing routine tasks required of a legal professional, including drafting, editing, and formatting legal documents.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Draft, edit, format, and manage legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in preparing and coordinating general meetings for SDIC.
  • Liaise with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for statutory submissions.
  • Maintain and organize legal files and records.
  • Record and transcribe meeting minutes.

Operational Support

  • Track legal matters, manage timesheets, and oversee matter management systems.
  • Prepare official correspondence under legal staff guidance.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
  • Maintain key legal records and monitor legal issues.
  • Review and process legal invoices and statements.

Team Collaboration

  • Respond to inquiries and provide initial guidance.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of the Legal Department.
  • Assist staff with legal-related support and research.
  • Organize departmental meetings and logistics.
