Responsibilities
  • Conduct the sales process in a professional manner that reflects the brand image, ensuring high customer satisfaction levels while adhering to distributor policies.
  • Actively prospect for new customers, follow up on sales leads, acquire new customers, and develop long-term customer relationships.
  • Approach and assist customers entering the showroom, reflecting the brand image at all times.
  • Qualify customers, build relationships, and undertake in-depth needs analyses to establish trust and confidence with customers.
  • Explain vehicle performance, product details, features, and benefits according to the sales process.
  • Develop strategies to enhance sales efficiency and increase revenue generated.
  • Maintain CRM systems to manage new and existing customer lists as per the sales funnel.
  • Offer test drives according to the test drive process, accompanied by relevant information about the vehicle.
  • Ensure smooth completion of sales contracts and associated documents.
  • Introduce finance, insurance, and lease options during the sales process.
  • Facilitate the transfer of customer information to relevant departments for a seamless hand-over.
  • Complete paperwork, car registration, and/or insurance documentation according to distributor policies.
  • Organize the handover of the vehicle according to distributor policy.
  • Introduce customers to the after-sales department.
  • Tactfully handle customer complaints and escalate difficult cases immediately.
  • Use various methods (telephone, email, visit) to acquire and follow up on prospective customers, compiling customer contract reports.
  • Regularly update customer databases and records to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with the rest of the sales team regarding specialized products or product groups.
  • Gain knowledge on dealership and competitor products, features, and accessories, updating this information regularly.
  • Adhere to company values throughout business practices and utilize sound judgment in decision-making.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a sales role within the automotive industry.
