We are seeking a senior system engineer to operate and tune Unix servers, SAN storage, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Job Description

This role involves ensuring high levels of availability and security of supported business applications. The individual will participate in planning and implementing policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Operating and tuning Unix servers (Solaris and Linux)
  • Tuning SAN storage (EMC)
  • Ensuring security and availability of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Participating in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have mid-senior level experience in system administration, with knowledge of Unix operating systems, SAN storage, and cloud infrastructure.

You will also need to oversee the logical security, integrity, and availability of all the Unix server OS, SAN Storage & OCI cloud platform.
