Key Responsibilities

As a Mason, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Mixing and applying mortar to create a strong foundation for structures
  • Using hand and power tools to cut and shape construction materials
  • Following blueprints or instructions to ensure accurate construction
  • Repairing damaged structures by replacing bricks or other materials
  • Cleaning and maintaining the work area and equipment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Basic knowledge of construction materials and techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and instructions
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
  • Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
