Guest Service Agent - Front Office

Job Description:

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for guests, providing exceptional reception services to ensure a seamless experience from check-in through check-out.

You will be responsible for achieving positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring an efficient reception experience, and maintaining effective communication with the Reception Manager.

This position requires a high level of customer service, with a focus on delivering personalized experiences that exceed guest expectations.

  • Responsibilities include:
  • Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure an efficient reception experience for guests, including check-in/check-out and complete audit procedures, as required
  • Maintain effective communication with the Reception Manager regarding relevant feedback from guests and other departments
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times, with a focus on delivering personalized experiences that exceed guest expectations
  • Attend appropriate training courses, when required, and assist with the Night Team's training and development efforts
  • Utilize knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
  • Maximize room occupancy by utilizing up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
  • Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front-of-house equipment and property management systems
  • Follow company brand standards
  • Assist other departments, as necessary
Requirements:

To successfully fill this role, you should possess:

* Previous experience in a customer-focused industry

* Positive attitude and good communication skills

* Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service

* Calm, efficient, and organized with great attention to detail

* Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude when working with guests

* Professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Competent level of IT proficiency

* Advantageous to have previous experience in cash handling and front office experience in the hotel, leisure, and/or entertainment sectors
