Power BI Technical and Functional Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Technical and Functional Consultant to help drive business success through data analysis, visualization, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Interactive Dashboards: Create high-quality, interactive dashboards using Power BI to provide actionable insights.
  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Perform thorough data modeling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure accurate and usable data.
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot Power BI issues and optimize performance and user experience.
  • Integration and Data Connectivity: Connect Power BI to various data sources, including SQL databases, cloud platforms, and APIs.
  • Training and Documentation: Conduct end-user training sessions and create documentation for Power BI solutions.
  • Advanced Analytics: Implement DAX calculations and leverage advanced Power Query features.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver insights-driven solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Master's degree in data analysis or related field is a plus.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development.
  • Strong expertise in DAX and Power Query.
  • Proficiency in integrating Power BI with various data sources.
  • Excellent understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
