Power BI Data Analytics Specialist

As a Power BI Technical and Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards and reports using the Power BI platform. Your expertise in data modeling, cleansing, and transformation will ensure the accuracy and usability of data.

Data Analysis and Visualization
  • You will perform data analysis, visualization, and reporting to provide insights-driven solutions to stakeholders.
  • Your strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts will enable you to design and implement efficient data architectures.

Business Requirements Gathering and Collaboration

  • You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Your excellent communication and presentation skills will enable you to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Technical Support and Integration

  • You will troubleshoot Power BI issues and provide solutions to optimize performance and user experience.
  • Your proficiency in integrating Power BI with various data sources (SQL Server, Azure, APIs, etc.) will enable you to connect disparate systems and provide seamless data integration.

Education and Certifications

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business analytics, or a related field is required.
  • A master's degree in data analysis or a related field is preferred.
  • You must hold Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification and have a strong understanding of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.

Required Skills and Experience

  • You must have at least 10 years of experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI platform development is required.
  • You must have strong expertise in DAX and Power Query.
  • Proficiency in integrating Power BI with various data sources (SQL Server, Azure, APIs, etc.) is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience in a consulting environment is desired.
