Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Middleware Solutions Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining complex integration services and APIs using industry-standard products.

The successful candidate will provide technical support for IT projects involving integration between applications through IBM middleware products. This includes maintenance and emergency response outside of normal business hours to ensure the health and system upgrades of general applications.

In addition, the Middleware Solutions Architect will be responsible for implementing and managing security processes to ensure uninterrupted operations and compliance with bank and data privacy policies.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Design, develop, and support webservices/APIs used for application system integration
  • Liaise between infrastructure and applications groups to ensure completion of development and/or maintenance activities of Bank's Middleware systems
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
  • IBM Professional Certification on IBM App Connect Enterprise (or Integration Bus)
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in design, development, and support of IT software solutions
Other skills and Abilities
  • Programming experience in Java and JEE systems
  • Strong expertise in REST APIs and Web Services
  • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, banking applications, and RDBMS databases
