Manufacturing Expert

The role of a Manufacturing Expert is to optimize production processes and improve product quality at the Sohar manufacturing facility. This involves supporting the Production Manager or Plant Manager in planning, production, design, and process engineering.

• Optimize production processes to achieve maximum efficiency and quality.
• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity.
• Coordinate with establishment personnel, vendors, or customers to schedule production and shipping activities.
• Establish safety procedures and environmental regulations for employees.
• Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance.
• Able to understand complex product drawings and interpret them for shopfloor staff.
• Assist in preparing Bill of Material (BOM) estimates for new or existing products.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement.

Desirable skills and qualifications include 3+ years' experience working in Production, Quality, and testing activities, up to 2 years' experience with composites products and equipment, and a degree in Production or Industrial Engineering.
