Café Connoisseur and Team Leader

The Head Barista role is a pivotal position in our team, overseeing the preparation and presentation of specialty coffee beverages while leading a group to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Coffee Expertise & Quality Control- Prepare high-quality specialty coffee beverages and train baristas on brewing techniques and latte art.
- Innovate seasonal or signature drinks in collaboration with management, ensuring consistency in taste and quality.
- Lead by example in creating a positive work environment, coordinating schedules and tasks among baristas.
- Foster meaningful relationships with customers and educate them on coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, supplies, and equipment, maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Monitor daily operations, report any issues to management, and troubleshoot coffee machines and grinders.
- Assist in achieving sales targets through upselling and promotional activities, tracking performance and providing input for evaluations.
- Contribute ideas for improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, with a strong focus on teamwork and quality.
A Diploma or equivalent in a related field is required. Certifications in barista skills or coffee brewing are an asset. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a barista, with at least 1 year in a leadership role, is also necessary.
Key Qualities: Passion for coffee and customer service, excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to train and inspire a diverse team, and flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
