A Maintenance Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Rigs and Hoists systems. The position involves working closely with Equipment OEMs, Workshops, and Repair Facilities inside and outside Oman.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage the assignments of roving personnel based on case-by-case requirements. Provide a detailed road map for each trip, setting expectations and obtaining end-of-activity reports.
  • Promote the use of Deficiency Reports, investigate equipment deficiencies, and coordinate with Rig Managers and Supervisors to resolve issues.
  • Regularly review maintenance reports, highlighting major concerns to the Insourcing WE Manager and Operation Team Leads.
  • Manage the distribution system of Alerts, Guidelines, and records. Ensure OEM material is published in systems for field access using the PDO Network.
  • Coordinate hardware audits for all PDO-owned rigs and hoists. Assemble resources to build teams for audits and site visits, maintaining quarterly updates and follow-up on action items.
  • Participate in QHSE audits, visiting operating units to improve communication between units and maintenance teams. Report findings, focusing on potential improvements, process optimization, and QHSE enhancements.
