Job Overview

A Chief Mechanic is required to work on 1500 HP and 2000 HP rigs with advanced machinery operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering or equivalent, with at least 8 years of experience in the oil field industry. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a team leader is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Must be able to lead teams effectively and ensure good HSE awareness. Working English language skills and computer proficiency are essential. Preference will be given to Asian candidates.

Compensation Package
  • Monthly Salary: OMR 1,450/- (paid during both on and off periods)
  • Work Schedule: 35 days on / 35 days off rotation
  • Annual Leave: One month's basic salary upon completing one year of service
  • End of Service Benefit: As per Omani labor law upon termination or resignation
