Senior Dessert Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Salalah, Oman. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry making and be knowledgeable about different techniques and ingredients.

1. Create and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to menu specifications
2. Develop new recipes and ideas for seasonal menus
3. E nsure high-quality standards are met for all products
4. Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
5. Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, making orders as needed
6. Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus and dishes
7. Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop new recipes
• Strong time management skills to ensure timely production of pastries for service
• Excellent communication skills to train staff effectively
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred
