Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Back End Developer to join our team. As a Back End Developer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing the back-end services and APIs for our platform.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient back-end services and APIs.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of all components.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code that meets industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Implement security and data protection measures to ensure the integrity of our system.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall quality.
  • Work with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Node.js and building RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in working with relational databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of server-side development concepts and best practices.
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
  • Experience with database optimisation and query performance tuning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Skills

  • Fluency in Arabic.
  • Experience with React.js for full-stack development.
  • Knowledge of cloud services and deployment platforms (e.g., AWS).
  • Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
