We are seeking a highly skilled Regional HR Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading and scaling our regional HR function, delivering precise and compliant HR operations, and interacting closely with our Talent Science and Workplace Engineering teams.
About the Role- Lead and scale Canonical's regional HR team (1-4 direct reports, depending on region)
- Deliver precise and compliant HR operations in a timely manner and with the highest degree of accuracy
- Interact closely with Talent Science and Workplace Engineering teams and create tight-knit processes across all HR regions
- HR Operations: Deliver accurate and timely HR operations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Talent Management: Lead talent development initiatives, succession planning, performance assessments, and employee engagement strategies
- Business Partnerships: Collaborate with senior managers across the business on performance management, organizational design, rewards, and workforce planning
- Experience: Proven track record of leading HR initiatives across regions within a technology business
- Skillset: Excellent analytical skills, ability to interpret data trends and themes, and knowledge of HR practices and employment law across EMEA
- Education: Exceptional academic record from high school and university
- Distributed work environment with twice-yearly team sprints in person
- Personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year
