Job Title: Sustainability Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving our sustainability initiatives and ensuring their successful execution.

About the Role:

The Sustainability Leader will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the sustainability function, ensuring ongoing compliance with sustainability guidelines. This role will be accountable for sustainability outcomes, overseeing all sustainability programs, and coordinating related training initiatives in collaboration with relevant departments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainable practices throughout the organization.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with sustainability guidelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize sustainability projects.
  • Manage the Sustainability Fund on a monthly basis, ensuring funds are collected and distributed transparently and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key community organizations.
  • Engage regularly with the local community to ensure the property remains an active and supportive member through Sustainability Fund projects and educational or interactive sustainability activities.

Requirements:

  • Possess strong technical skills with a minimum of four years of experience in a sustainability-related role within the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrate proven results in implementing and managing sustainability initiatives.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Experience in a similar ultra-luxury resort brand is a plus.
  • Cross-cultural work environment exposure would be an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex sustainability and environment strategies and draw impactful insights.
