Product Development Manager

This is a mid-to-senior level position that requires a strategic thinker with technical expertise and leadership skills to drive product development, market engagement, and ecosystem collaboration for our Networking sector. Key responsibilities include leading Ubuntu and Ubuntu Core integration as the OS for Smart NIC products, shaping development roadmaps for Smart NIC and ToR switch features, engaging with the ecosystem and key customers, and driving product success and market strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Ubuntu and Ubuntu Core integration as the OS for Smart NIC products.
- Shape development roadmaps for Smart NIC and ToR switch features.
- Engage with the ecosystem and key customers.
- Drive product success and market strategy.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from conception to delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and management teams.
- Conduct market research, analyze trends, and gather customer feedback.
- Develop and communicate product vision and updates.
- Support sales efforts through customer engagement and product knowledge.
- Strong academic background and understanding of Linux and open source community.
- Experience in product management within the software industry.
- Deep knowledge of hyperscale and enterprise data center architectures.
- Understanding of network protocols, hardware, kernel, and libraries.
- Familiarity with Smart NICs, ToR switches, and related ecosystems.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year.
- Experience with vertical markets like Telco, Finance, Automotive.
- Knowledge of cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with embedded devices and ecosystems.
