**Job Description:**

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of the service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment machinery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with experience working on complex equipment such as truck mounted pumps, batching plants, and placing booms. They will also possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and provide technical support as needed.

A key aspect of this role will be to perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections and repairs, to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of work performed, including inventory management and spare parts ordering.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including inspections and repairs, to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Provide technical support to customers, including guidance on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inventory management and spare parts ordering
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, automotive technology)
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Familiarity with local regulations and industry standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Certification in areas such as OSHA or safety procedures
  • Fluency in Arabic language
