Academic in FinTech

Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our faculty as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Financial Technology (FinTech). We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced academic who can deliver high-quality teaching, conduct research, and contribute to the development of our academic programs.

Main Responsibilities:

• To teach and develop FinTech modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• To design and assess student assignments and exams.
• To work closely with the Faculty Director on student matters, including timetabling, academic support, and pastoral care.
• To take on the role of Student Advisor/Personal Tutor.
• To engage in research and scholarly activities, with a focus on publishing in refereed international journals.
• To collaborate with external finance and FinTech bodies and industry to enhance the student experience.

Essential Criteria:

• A PhD in Finance, FinTech, or a closely related field.
• Experience of teaching in Higher Education, preferably in FinTech.
• A strong research profile, with a track record of published research in internationally recognized journals.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively to students and peers.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the development of academic programs.
