Pantry Production Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Pantry Production Specialist to oversee specific areas of production in our kitchen. This individual will be responsible for managing their staff, ensuring quality and standards are upheld, and enhancing operational performance.

This role requires strong leadership skills, as you will supervise operational and frontline staff, ensuring efficient task execution in line with defined standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in F&B Operations, preferably in a senior or management position. Additionally, they should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.

A technical degree in Food and Beverage, Hospitality Management, or a related field is desirable. Proficiency in English and Arabic is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Communicate effectively with 'Front of the House' staff to ensure they are informed about special menu items, out-of-stock items, and event information.
  2. Perform operational tasks by following established processes, overseeing opening and closing duties, and ensuring compliance with norms and internal procedures.
  3. Operate semi-complex equipment and machines, prioritizing routine tasks to improve efficiency, and monitor kitchen materials to maintain proper degreasing, cleaning, and storage practices.
  4. Follow mandatory procedures and methods of work to safeguard the environment and the well-being of oneself and others, enforcing safety rules for kitchen equipment.
  5. Conduct routine inventory control tasks and checks on quantities, quality, and availability against records, following established inventory control procedures.
  6. Receive products, materials, and goods from suppliers, verify their quality and quantity, ensure proper stocking, and record waste items on the relevant form for inventory purposes.
  7. Supervise station employees to ensure consistent compliance with portion sizes, cooking methods, quality, and kitchen policies.
  8. Prepare high-quality food orders following outlined recipes and chef's instructions, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards to efficiently fulfill restaurant orders.
