Job Overview

The Role of an Armouring Operator involves producing cables with the correct specifications by following a quality compliance plan (QCP) at rated speeds.

This role also requires setting up jobs efficiently and effectively by following operating instructions and procedures.

A key responsibility of this position is to follow all safety procedures and requirements.

Candidates will be responsible for checking the mandate to ensure cable orders meet specifications in the machine.

In addition, they will update and insert data into the MES system.

The successful candidate will communicate with their supervisor regarding any issues that may arise.



Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates should have secondary school education and vocational training.

They must also have 3-5 years of experience in operating lay-up machines.



Skills and Knowledge

This position requires basic understanding of production and quality.

Candidates should also possess skills in process testing and have basic technical skills.
