About the Position

We are looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable server-side architectures that power our observability platform.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build efficient APIs, data pipelines, and real-time processing systems that process vast amounts of telecom data. Your expertise will ensure our platform provides accurate and timely insights to both operational and executive users.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • API Design and Development
    • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support data ingestion, processing, and integration with front-end components.
    • Ensure APIs are highly available, scalable, and optimized for real-time data processing.
  • Data Processing and Integration
    • Develop back-end components that handle large-scale, low-latency data streams.
    • Optimize system performance to ensure fast response times for critical observability metrics.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into actionable tasks.
    • Participate in agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.
  • Security and Compliance
    • Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive telecom data.
    • Ensure the back-end architecture meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Background
    • 3–7+ years of professional experience in back-end development, with a strong portfolio of building scalable, data-intensive applications.
    • Proven experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Skills and Expertise
    • Proficiency in server-side programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or similar).
    • Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data processing frameworks.
    • Strong understanding of real-time data integration techniques, message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Knowledge of security best practices and data compliance standards.
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in developing real-time data systems or observability platforms.
  • Prior exposure to telecom networks, OSS, or similar data-intensive environments.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration, especially in handling data for Gen AI or LLM-driven applications.
