Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Investment Leader to drive our investment strategy and oversee the execution of key initiatives.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in formulating and executing strategic plans, as well as overseeing the sourcing, selection, and assessment of high-quality investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Investment Strategy and Planning:
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive investment strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Sources and selects high-quality investment opportunities that align with the company's goals.
  • Monitors market trends and economic conditions to proactively adjust investment strategies.
Governance and Execution:
  • Cordinates due diligence for potential investments.
  • Ensures robust risk assessment and mitigation across all stages of due diligence.
  • Oversees the legal, financial, and operational closing of all investment transactions.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Communicates regularly with key stakeholders, including investors, government bodies, and other industry leaders.
  • Represents the company at international ICT investment events and conferences.
Leadership and Development:
  • Leads a high-performing team of investment professionals.
  • Contributes to talent development efforts within the Investment Department.
Reporting and Performance Management:
  • Defines, monitors, and reports on departmental KPIs.
Document Control and Compliance:
  • Maintains document control and retention policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance or business.
  • Prior experience in leadership roles, preferably in investment management or technology investing.
  • Professional certifications, such as CFA or CAIA, are desirable.

You should also possess strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as the ability to drive value creation and growth in the Technology sector.
