Job Summary

We are seeking a Strategic Planning Manager to lead our organization's strategic projects and initiatives. This role involves enabling various strategic projects, conducting studies to improve performance, and closely monitoring or leading specific projects in different areas of the bank.

Responsibilities

">
  1. Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve customer experience.
  2. Closely monitor or lead specific projects in various areas of the bank, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  3. Assist top management in strategy formulation, execution, and communication of strategy updates to all stakeholders.
  4. Work closely with all units/departments within the bank to achieve long-term goals and initiatives within designated time-frames and allocated resources.
  5. Assist, facilitate, and conduct strategy implementation review meetings with business teams.
  6. Responsible for producing and communicating strategy-related reports and documentation in accordance with defined formats and timelines.
  7. Identify and communicate impediments to the implementation of the overall strategy and propose options to resolve such impediments.
  8. Manage and initiate special studies, as well as market and competitive research pertaining to the existing or future operations of the bank.
  9. Investigate various aspects of the bank to identify opportunities for introducing improvements in key areas.
  10. Contribute towards various initiatives and activities within Strategy & Planning depending on the requirements and scope of such.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">
  1. Bachelor or Master's Degree in Business Administration/Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum of 3 years' experience, including at least 1 year of experience in a business planning function.
  2. Oman National preferred.
  3. Strong analytical skills.
  4. Effective communication skills to interact with all levels in the organization, with strong oral and written skills.
  5. Solid knowledge of commercial/business awareness.
  6. Self-motivated, initiative-driven, innovative, and dynamic.
