Risk Management and Safety Officer Job Summary:

The role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure a safe work environment. Developing risk management policies, maintaining health and safety standards, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization are key responsibilities.

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies
  • Maintain health, safety, and risk management policies
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
  • Provide training on workplace safety and risk management
  • Investigate incidents and accidents

Key Responsibilities:

The Risk Management & Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring a secure working environment by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks. This includes developing and implementing risk management strategies, maintaining health, safety, and risk management policies, conducting regular safety audits and inspections, providing training on workplace safety and risk management, and investigating incidents and accidents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in risk management or a related field
  • Professional certification in risk management or occupational health and safety
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in risk management and safety roles

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of risk management and safety regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and training abilities
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
