Mid-Senior Security Expert

We are seeking an experienced security expert to lead our team in the design, implementation, and support of advanced Cisco security solutions.

  • Leverage your expertise in Cisco FTD, FMC, and ISE deployments, configurations, and troubleshooting to deliver top-notch security services.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python to enhance security operations and optimize security workflows.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring best practices in the design and deployment of security solutions.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify security threats and weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions with other systems and applications.
  • Support pre-sales activities by working with customers to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex security issues, supporting escalations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Aid with security audits and compliance requirements where necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions.
Key Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in the security domain, with a strong focus on Cisco security technologies.
  • Possess a CCIE Security certification or equivalent expertise.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience with Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD), Firepower Management Center (FMC), and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
  • Showcase strong programming skills in Python for security automation and orchestration.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with Catalyst Center and its integration with security technologies.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Spaces for location-based services and security integration.
  • Knowledge of Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions.
  • Proficiency with Splunk for security information and event management (SIEM).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex security challenges.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Showcase the ability to work independently as well as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
