About This Role
">This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an IT Infrastructure Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and leadership to our staff. You will work closely with our helpdesk team to ensure timely and efficient resolution of IS requests.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Lead and manage the helpdesk team to ensure timely and efficient resolution of IS requests.
- Maintain IS inventory and perform preventive maintenance on a regular basis.
- Liaise with suppliers and external support companies as required for support and procurement.
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure services, including servers, firewalls, and DR systems.
- Provide user support for internet, Wi-Fi, and email accounts.
- Assist with MES-related issues and security of barcode printers and Industrial PCs.
- Configure and maintain OCI-owned smart phones and tablets.
- Handle PABX hardware and software issues.
- Co-ordinate annual maintenance of PCs, plotters, UPS, and Data Centre.
- Maintain time management servers and hardware, including security.
- Manage all related support, warranty, and outsourced contracts.
- Provide branch office support, including users and connectivity.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Patch management: push patches and new versions of software from the patch server.
- Perform preventive maintenance on a regular basis.
- Responsible for print solution and contract management.
- Assist in formulating the annual budget for the specialized area.
- Ensure approved limits are maintained and adhered to.
- Responsible for cloud email services and related contracts.
- Act as second-level point of escalation for all IS-related queries and requests.
- Set up and manage IS infrastructure at conference and board rooms.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 Framework, NIST, GRC, cybersecurity, Azure, and AWS.
Qualifications:
- Graduate in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- IT certification preferred (Azure, MCSE, CCNA).
