Job DescriptionThis is a key role in our engineering team, responsible for creating high-quality mechanical and piping designs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering design principles and practices, as well as experience with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and PDMS/E3D.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Create detailed designs for mechanical and piping systems, ensuring that all requirements meet industry standards and company procedures.
- Liaison and Coordination: Work closely with other departments, vendors, and project personnel to ensure seamless integration of design documentation.
- Project Delivery: Ensure all design documents are completed within allocated project hours and deadlines.
- Team Management: Manage and oversee a team of designers/draftspersons, ensuring efficient task planning and schedule adherence.
- Education: Minimum Diploma in Engineering.
- Experience: At least 15 years of experience in an engineering design firm, with demonstrated capability.
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong 3D CAD skills, preferably with PDMS/E3D experience.
- Language: Fluent in spoken and written English.
