We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Site Engineer to lead electrical installations and maintenance for major projects in Muscat, Oman.

Job Description
  • Oversight of on-site electrical installations including low-voltage and medium-voltage systems, lighting, cabling, etc.
  • Interpretation of single-line diagrams, schematics, and IFC drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Ensuring adherence to Oman's electrical regulations and safety standards (DCA, IEEE) is essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising subcontractors and conducting quality inspections to guarantee the highest standards of workmanship. Additionally, you will troubleshoot electrical faults and provide technical solution proposals to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing daily site operations, including coordinating with project managers, clients, and utility providers.
  • Preparing daily reports, test certificates, and method statements to document progress and compliance.
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and material procurement to ensure timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of GCC-based site experience, preferably in Oman.
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD Electrical, Dialux, ETAP, Primavera P6/MS Project, Multimeters, Meggers, Relay Test Sets.
  • Deep understanding of high-voltage and low-voltage systems, transformers, switchgear, and earthing principles.
  • Familiarity with IEC/BS/ANSI standards.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
