Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Professional to join our team. As a Senior Audit professional, you will be responsible for leading audits as an in-charge for medium and small clients, and acting as semi-senior for large clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical skill set, with the ability to identify and document knowledge, and share it with the team. You will also be responsible for mentoring new team members, and ensuring that all review notes are cleared.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and strategy of the audit
  • Monitoring budgets of the engagements
  • Reporting including annual financial statements, management letters, key features memoranda, etc.
  • Analytical review of full financial statements
  • Handling consolidations, especially in high-risk areas
  • Audit administration
  • Client relations – interaction with client staff
  • Preparation and updating of system documentation
  • Preparation / completion of general file documents
  • Coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to team members, ensuring timely engagement reviews

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Commerce or completed A levels or equivalent
  • ACCA - minimum of 9 papers (F1-F9) completed
  • CPA - 2 papers completed
  • ICAEW - Completed Professional Stage
  • 2-3+ years postgraduate experience
  • Knowledge of accounting concepts
  • Computer literacy

Linguistic Skills:

Good communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking). Arabic is an advantage.

  2. Researching skills to identify, document, and share knowledge
  3. Excellent analytical skills for quick and efficient information analysis
  4. Proficient problem-solving with innovative solutions
  5. Effective communication skills
