Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Accounting in ensuring the Finance department operates efficiently and effectively, aligning with set accounting policies.
  • Monitor accounts payable, payroll, general ledger preparation, taxation, financial statements according to IFRS, and other regulatory requirements.

Accounting Functionality

  • Assist in monitoring and preparing accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger for timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with predefined financial formats and policies.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare financial reports for government bodies and other companies to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Responsible for preparing P&L accounts and balance sheets for OCI & Group.

Audit and Compliance

  • Facilitate internal and external audits by maintaining accurate records and providing necessary information.
  • Review General Ledger and Trial Balance periodically to identify discrepancies.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting with semi-qualified ACCA/Chartered/Cost Accountants certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance department of a large, listed manufacturing company.

Skills and Knowledge

  • General Ledger Management
  • IFRS-based account preparation
  • Consolidation of accounts
  • XBRL MSX reporting
  • Team player with analytical skills and ability to mentor junior accountants.
  • Proficient in accounting software like SAP and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
