Financial Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in the financial success of our industrial products trading firm.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant in an industrial products trading firm.
  • You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Full Cycle Accounting: Handle the full cycle of accounting up to finalization for the firm, ensuring accurate and timely financial data.
  2. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insightful financial analysis.
  3. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, including cash and bank reconciliations, to optimize working capital.
  4. Banking and Finance: Liaise with banks to raise finances as needed, ensuring seamless access to liquidity.
  5. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including VAT preparation and filing.
  6. Operational Efficiency: Coordinate with sales and delivery teams for timely invoicing and follow-up of payments.
  7. Financial Planning: Prepare budgeting reports on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual basis.
  8. Financial Analysis: Assist in financial forecasting and variance analysis.
  9. Internal Controls: Implement and maintain financial controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in VAT preparation and filing.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, MIS, and accounting software.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and effective communication skills.
