We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Officer to join our client's team in Qatar. This is a challenging role that requires the right candidate to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards on water and sewage pipeline infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental practices on water and sewage pipeline infrastructure projects.
  • This includes developing and implementing effective risk management strategies to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • The HSE Officer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in water/sewage pipeline infrastructure projects is mandatory, including expertise in water pipeline networks, sewer line networks, ground water reservoirs, elevated tanks/reservoirs, and other ancillary infrastructure-related building works.
  • The ability to relocate to Qatar for the duration of the project is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A degree in a relevant field such as occupational health and safety, engineering, or environmental science is highly desirable.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA would be advantageous.
