Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Electrical and Instrumentation Technician.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing safe and productive operation and maintenance activities on all electrical and instrumentation equipment in the facility.

They will also ensure the Plant is Operating as per OEM recommendations and coordinate the maintenance activities with supervisor.

Additionally, the candidate will assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of all equipment, including inspections, testing, calibrations, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical systems, instruments, PLCs, analyzers, and GCs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing safe and productive operation and maintenance activities on all electrical and instrumentation equipment in the facility
  • Ensure the Plant is Operating as per OEM recommendations and coordinate the maintenance activities with supervisor
  • Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of all equipment, including inspections, testing, calibrations, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical systems, instruments, PLCs, analyzers, and GCs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum a technical degree in electrical and instrumentation or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas sector
  • Knowledge of Generators, Engines, flowmeters, breakers, switchgear, Control valves, PLC, Chromatograph, regulators and engine ignition and control systems
  • Basic knowledge of troubleshooting, problem-solving, information analysis, and interpersonal skills
  • Possess basic understanding of engine and compressor performance and operations
  • Computer proficiency is mandatory. Good working knowledge of the typical Microsoft suite of software is required
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good English command, written and spoken. Arabic is an asset
