Job Title: HSE Trainer

The role of the HSE trainer involves creating engaging and informative training sessions that promote safe work practices, environmental awareness, and regulatory compliance across various industries.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct high-quality training sessions on workplace safety, risk management, emergency response, environmental sustainability, hazardous materials handling, and compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs and curricula that meet industry standards and organizational requirements.
  • Lead theoretical and practical training using diverse instructional methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Evaluate trainees' knowledge and skills through tests, drills, and assessments to ensure competency in HSE practices.
  • Create training materials, including presentations, manuals, safety documents, and practical exercises.
  • Maintain up-to-date training content to reflect changes in legislation, industry best practices, and emerging risks.
Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure training programs comply with all relevant local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of training sessions, attendance, certifications, and performance evaluations.
  • Support the preparation of reports for management and regulatory bodies on training outcomes and compliance status.
Consultation & Support:
  • Provide on-site consultation and support to employees and management on HSE matters.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Support HSE audits and inspections by ensuring the workforce is well-trained and prepared for compliance checks.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to stay current on HSE trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
Key Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HSE roles, with at least 2 years in a training or instructional capacity.
