Product Lead for Linux Open Source Community

We are seeking an exceptional Product Manager to lead our efforts in the Linux open source community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the vision and strategy for our desktop product, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that meet user needs and business objectives.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Linux and the open source software ecosystem, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. You will be able to travel internationally up to 4 times a year for company events.

Responsibilities:- Lead the product development lifecycle, reviewing priorities and goals for your product
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales
- Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities
- Communicate product vision, status updates, and key decisions to ensure alignment and manage expectations
- Conduct usability testing, analyse user feedback, and iterate on the product to improve user experience
- Exceptional academic results at high school and university
- Understanding of Linux and the wider open source software community
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Able to travel internationally up to 4 times a year for company events
